Intensive Chamber Music Program
A fantastic and unique chamber music opportunity for young chamber musicians to play, learn, and perform with a top-level professional chamber ensemble. Apply for the chance to experience the timing of the preparation of a professional ensemble for a successful top-level chamber music concert.
THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR 2024 IS CLOSED
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION (in a nutshell)
Let's clarify one thing - this program is NOT a competition. We are looking for young, passionate chamber musicians who feel they can participate in a top-level chamber music concert with a professional ensemble. The applicants will be carefully evaluated to ensure their abilities match their coaches' skills to provide a mutually enjoyable experience from rehearsals and the concert. However, applicants will not necessarily be compared against each other. This program is a haven for young musicians with a burning passion for chamber music, a place where you can hone your skills and have an extraordinary chamber music experience.
This program has two main objectives: to offer a unique and invaluable opportunity for young chamber musicians to experience top-level chamber music coaching while participating in chamber ensembles with members of the Nezhdanova-Placzek Duo and to foster a more active engagement of the young generation in chamber music events in their areas, either as performers or concert attendees. The ensembles and individual performers accepted into the program will benefit from several FREE coaching sessions/rehearsals and masterclasses with the Nezhdanova-Placzek Duo, and they will have the chance to perform at the final professional recital.
