At the BumbleBee Notes Music Academy, we aim to offer music lessons that contribute to the diversity of excellent and valuable music education in the Syracuse metropolitan area and beyond. Our academy provides high-quality, professional one-on-one music lessons and courses to students of all ages at any stage of development. Our faculty are top-level music professionals with terminal degrees in music performance and pedagogy. Although the one-on-one lessons represent the core of our offering, we also offer light and fun courses that help develop natural musicality and teach the fundamentals of music history and theory in an informative and entertaining way. We also provide essential conducting and ensemble leadership courses, where students learn the basic conducting patterns and leadership skills necessary for leading orchestras and smaller ensembles. In our Chamber Music Institute, students can learn about the art of cooperation in intimate chamber settings and experience playing with top-level professional chamber musicians. All students enrolled in our one-on-one studios participate in two student recitals per year, held at the end of each of the two semesters. Additionally, we offer our students other special performing opportunities, organized by our academy or other local music teacher associations.
