Our founders, cellist Dr. Roman Placzek and pianist Dr. Elena Nezhdanova, are esteemed educators, acclaimed performers, and seasoned organizers. Each division reflects its shared passion for music. Dr. Placzek shapes the company's vision as President, CEO, Treasurer, and registered agent. As chief publisher for BumbleBee Notes™ Music Publishing, he leads creative projects and guides the Music Publishing division’s artistic path. At the BumbleBee Notes™ Music Academy, he mentors young musicians, leads the cello and chamber music studios, and teaches music theory and conducting. ELENA NEZHDANOVA, D.M.A.

Dr. Elena V. Nezhdanova is a highly accomplished music professional. She serves as COO, Secretary, and Academy Director. As Director of BumbleBee Notes™ Music Academy, she brings passion and sensitive leadership. She manages a vibrant piano studio and teaches engaging music history. THE STORY

​BumbleBee Notes™ Inc. Music Company was established in April 2024 by cellist Dr. Roman Placzek and pianist Dr. Elena Nezhdanova. Both owners are members of the critically acclaimed chamber music ensemble Nezhdanova-Placzek Duo.

The company's purpose is to consolidate the activities of its owners, who are active concert artists, music educators, authors, and composers, and give them a platform to share their achievements and develop their ideas.
